The objective of this roundtable discussion was to provide an opportunity for TIWB experts to share experiences and identify best practices in implementation of TIWB programmes.

TIWB Stakeholders Workshop

This Stakeholders Workshop brought together tax audit experts, host/partner administrations, regional and international partners, as well as donors. The sessions sought to share experiences from participating stakeholders with the following objectives:

  • discuss best practices in delivering TIWB programmes;
  • share feedback, concerns, and suggestions, in an open and inclusive environment for discussion; 
  • update stakeholders on the advancements made in tax audit, criminal tax investigations, effective use of automatic exchange of information (AEOI), and digitalisation of tax administration programmes;
  • discuss the potential for and implementation of new areas of TIWB assistance, including in the implementation of the Global Corporate Minimum Tax Rules;
  • deliberate on the contribution of TIWB in effective capacity building to foster regional co-operation and international partnerships; and
  • review and establish key action points resulting from the meeting's deliberations and strategise for the upcoming year.
