Tax Inspectors Without Borders for Criminal Tax Investigation (TIWB-CI) Showcase

The Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) Secretariat is organising a virtual showcase bringing together tax crime experts, criminal tax investigation agencies, and international partners to highlight the transformative impact of the TIWB criminal tax investigation (TIWB-CI) programmes. Through real-world case studies and expert discussions, the event will explore the challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned in capacity building to combat tax crimes globally. 

The agenda features insights from jurisdictions such as Costa Rica, the Maldives, and the Seychelles. These countries have benefited from TIWB-CI support to tackle complex investigations and implement tools like the OECD Tax Crime Investigation Maturity Model. The showcase will also focus on regional co-operation efforts in Africa, Latin America, and Asia, highlighting best practices to foster partnerships and boost operational efficiency in criminal tax investigations. 

This event provides a unique platform for knowledge sharing, strengthening international co-operation, and advancing the global fight against tax crime.
