Retired Tax Expert TIWB Application Process

Retired tax expert fills out the TIWB Tax Audit Expert "Expression of Interest" online.
TIWB Secretariat confirms receipt via email of the "Expression of Interest" form submitted by the retired tax expert.
TIWB Secretariat reviews the retired tax expert's "Expression of Interest" and schedules a telephone or Skype interview with the expert, requesting additional information where necessary.
TIWB Secretariat decides if the retired tax expert qualifies to participate in a TIWB Programme.
If qualified, the retired tax expert is added to the TIWB database of experts and is notified by the TIWB Secretariat of completion of Expert Registration.
When a TIWB Assistance Request is received and the area of expertise corresponds to an Expert's profile, the TIWB Secretariat sends a Programme Summary to the Expert for his/her consideration.
With the Expert's permission, the TIWB Secretariat proposes 2-3 Experts from its database to the Host Administration of the TIWB Programme.
Host Administration reviews Expert proposals. The Host Administration is responsible for all reference and background checks. A telephone or Skype conference may be organised between the Expert and the Host Administration.
The Expert and Host Administration give feedback to TIWB Secretariat regarding the Skype/telephone exchange and Host Administration confirms choice of Expert for the TIWB Programme.
TIWB Secretariat assists in defining TIWB Programme Terms of Reference, including funding, contracting, etc.
TIWB Secretariat deploys Expert and assists during TIWB Programme in Host Administration.
After the initial Host Administration deployment, Expert provides Mission Report #1 (template) to the TIWB Secretariat.
Expert provides subsequent Mission Reports for each deployment to the Host Administration and submits them to the TIWB Secretariat.
After the final deployment, Expert prepares a Final Programme Report summarizing the TIWB Programme scope, actions taken and conclusions, for the TIWB Secretariat.
Upon conclusion of the TIWB Programme, Expert completes an online TIWB Programme Evaluation for submission to the TIWB Secretariat.
